Privacy policy
What we do with the details you give us. Last updated 23 September 2026.
This policy explains how Super Bathrooms (“we”, “us”) handles personal information we collect through superbathrooms.com.au and when you contact us by phone, email or text. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- What you send in our forms: your name, phone number and email, what you want to renovate, your budget and message, the estimate from our cost calculator if you send one, and the page you sent the form from.
- What you tell us when you call, email or message us.
- If you go ahead with a job: the property address, details and photos of the room, the quote and contract, and payment records.
- Technical details: like most websites, our web server records your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We keep these logs for 14 days to keep the site secure and fix problems. We also use your IP address for a few minutes to stop the same connection sending too many forms.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and our website does not store anything in your browser.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to check that a person, not an automated program, is sending them. When you use a form, Google’s script collects information such as your IP address, browser and device details and how you use the page, and may set cookies. Google uses this under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only receive a pass or fail result.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, call you back, and arrange a measure and quote.
- To email you a copy of your enquiry, so you have a record of what you sent.
- To plan, carry out and stand behind the work if you engage us, including warranty work.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and building records.
- To protect our website and inbox from spam and misuse.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing emails. If we ever want to send you news or offers, we will ask first, and every message will have a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We only share what each one needs to do its job:
- Brevo delivers the emails our website sends: the confirmation to you and the enquiry to us. Brevo stores data in the European Union.
- Google provides reCAPTCHA and our business email inbox, and may store data in the United States and other countries.
- Cloudflare passes emails sent to our service@superbathrooms.com.au address on to our inbox.
- Akamai (Linode) hosts this website on servers in Sydney.
- Tradespeople and suppliers working on your job, such as a plumber or electrician, get the details they need to do their part.
- Government bodies, insurers or others when the law requires it, for example home building compensation insurance for eligible work.
Some of these providers store information outside Australia. We use established providers that commit to protecting personal information, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it properly.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a job: deleted once we no longer need them, and within two years.
- Job records for customers: kept for seven years, to cover tax record keeping and the statutory warranty periods for home building work in NSW.
- Web server logs: 14 days.
Keeping it secure
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries are sent straight to our email and are not kept in a database on the website. Access to our email, systems and records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email service@superbathrooms.com.au or call 0431 301 810. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may have to keep some records the law requires.
Questions and complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will try to put it right within 30 days. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we work changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Our terms of use cover the rest of the website.
